My first real Bible study began in Costa Rica in 2020 during COVID. When we could legally gather,  we met in a wonderful group of approximately 16 women in the local evangelical church. I enjoyed our weekly meetings and I liked to learn about the Bible. When I finally returned to Canada, I couldn’t locate a Bible study that was as engaging.

So I began to pray for Bible Study that met my needs and would enrich my life.

One fateful day, I met a woman at the gym. We started to chum around go to lunch and get to know each other

She wanted me to come and be her roommate in Mexico, so she finally let me know she was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses. She needed me to be up to a certain standard of behavior to join her witness friends in social activities. 

I was intrigued. I’d seen the beautiful magazines showing the lamb and the lion laying down together in a peaceful  world. And after all, I had been praying to find out more about the Bible. I was invited to attend a meeting at their Kingdom Hall.  A public talk starts the meeting,  everyone is invited. The very first public talk I heard at the Kingdom Hall explained why there is no burning in hellfire and damnation forever. The speaker carefully outlined the truth with scripture that confirmed that a loving Father would never condemn His child to such a grim fate. I was left elated! We always have free will and choice. This is truthful news I wanted to hear spoken out loud all my life.

The second part of the meeting was the study of a very intelligent and well organized magazine called The Watchtower. The lessons in The Watchtower are very useful for all people, especially for Christians. Learning the Bible is also helpful to living a life that honours both God and yourself. Meetings were conducted by one person, like a chairperson in a meeting, and people in the congregation were invited to make comments on each section of the lesson. There was no pastor, only men reading The Watchtower.  The well thought out magazine leads the way,  with an important weekly topic and  people who love God participating together, learning  important life lessons from the Bible. I was astonished. I began attending meetings regularly.

I accepted a chance for a free private bible study. I was blessed to start to learn the Bible with a really wonderful couple and their daughter, long term Jehovah’s Witnesses. They’ve become very good friends, confidants and guides as I navigate the rocky shores of Christianity to find truth.

In the last few months I’ve been realizing how important Jehovah’s Witnesses are to recovering so much that was lost when too many of us turned her back on our Creator God Jehovah.

I discovered so much about Jehovah’s witnessing. Jehovah’s Witnesses were persecuted during the world wars. They refused to participate in war. They’re nonpolitical. The organization is totally funded by donations, and there are no members on staff. It’s totally volunteer work. All the excellent publications, videos, meetings and other learning materials are Bible based and created with donations only. Yes, the witnesses do not pass a plate or ask for donations in their meetings. The support comes from those with a love for all the witnesses do! 

Jehovah’s Witnesses go door to door in order to tell people about their beautiful beliefs in order to save people for God‘s Kingdom that’s coming. When I saw the Jehovah’s Witnesses going door to door in a video, my heart just melted. As I learned more, I realized that these kind folks are normal people with normal lives, except that they devote a lot of their time to worship and learning about Jehovah and doing outreach to help others join their circle. They’re friendly and loving. I’m really glad to have met and start the process of joining with them.

As I met the people in our congregation, I realize that even the Jehovah’s Witnesses were suffering sickness. I realize that sickness is probably slowing them down as they strive to do Jehovah‘s well, and bring new people into their loving circle. I had become a bit jaded in the world of death, destruction, and despair. Medical science only made some progress to heal.

During my decades  as a therapist with Neuromodulation and Natural Control Method (NCM) I had become discouraged. My fellow practitioners also felt the futility of of healing one person at a time in system that seems bent on destroying rather than healing. Yet there was a longing in my life to share the skills that I honed as a technical therapist of NCM. Now I feel that I found I finally found a group of people that I really truly wanted to help. I feel guided by our Creator God Jehovah to offer my skills as a technical therapist to the loving people in the Jehovah’s Witness religion. My dream is to one day be a teacher in the process of teaching these skills to Jehovah’s Witnesses. It’s a grand vision that I have held my life with the Cuban people that did not come to pass. I believe that this is the group that could one day bring this marvellous healthcare technique to the waiting world, strengthening their members to serve their Jehovah as best they can through recovering their health and well-being through the modulation of their own natural inborn system of control.

I believe that Creator God Jehovah’s plan for me is to offer my healthcare groups to committed Jehovah’s Witnesses. Free of charge. My efforts are in honour of their own selfless volunteer service to humankind.
